Transcript: After Maria hit the island of program in 2017, the San Juan Bay Estuary program, “Estuario”, decided to provide support to the communities as well as to the waterways of the Metropolitan Region. For this purpose, we transformed three community centers, we decided to install in solar systems as well as equipment that actually would help me provide food, as well as safe water, and a safe place for them to stay after a major disaster. Now is the time for us to develop a long-term solution in the form of a strong watershed-based Mitigation Plan So we can actually develop specific projects that can help them mitigate the impact of climate change.
We did not get here by ourselves. We got here with the support from many people and we now need your support more than ever so we can continue to move forward and develop a very strong, resilient watershed and Metropolitan Region for Puerto Rico
