As one of only four family shelters in the state, Lucy’s Hearth provides emergency shelter – keeping families together and helping them to gain the skills to be self-sufficient and achieve affordable housing.
While Lucy’s Hearth is a beloved part of the Aquidneck Island community, Lucy’s Hearth is also a statewide leader in advocating for more affordable housing and delivering emergency shelter and supports to families experiencing homelessness from all across the state. With housing vulnerability and homelessness looming large right now – 155 families experiencing homelessness, we need your partnership more than ever to help working families thrive.
Because of partners like you, last year, Lucy's Hearth helped 85 children and their guardians with a range of services including financial literacy, decent, safe, and affordable housing, secure job placement, financial coaching, and holistic programs.
