People in under-resourced communities are disproportionately impacted by social, economic, and environmental barriers to good health such as unemployment and poor housing conditions.

CHC: Creating Healthier Communities is working to address the barriers to good health and equity.

That means taking on tough issues like ensuring safe and respectful maternal healthcare or all women.

With support from the Elevance Health Foundation, CHC has launched a new initiative to improve black maternal health outcomes by developing strategies to manage stress and reduce preterm births.
