20 Years Serving the Community - Chesapeake Cares Food Pantry
We are a local feeding organization that distributes an average of 15,000 pounds of food to 1,100 families every week.
"The food has helped when my family was hungry and I did not know where to turn for help."
But we are more than a bag of groceries, we are creating relationships that change individual's lives.
Our partnership with Calvert Health allows us to provide routine health screenings for those who would otherwise not receive medical care.
During the summer, we work with autistic youth in our community to give them practical hands-on serving opportunities that allow them to volunteer and feel accomplished.
