Clarissa Perez: The Hispanic Association
of Colleges and Universities
internship program I found to be
very valuable.
I had interned in the summer of
2010 for the Department of Veteran
Affairs in San Bruno, California,
working at Golden Gate National
Cemetery, and then again in 2011,
again with the Department of
Veteran Affairs, this time at James
E. Van Zandt Medical Center in
Altoona Pennsylvania.
Antonio Flores: Combining a college education with
an internship can open the door
to many opportunities. Getting
real world experience in the
federal or private sector can help
students discover their career
path.
I'm Antonio Flores,
president of HACU, the Hispanic
Association of Colleges and
Universities.
For more than 25 years, our
partnerships have made possible
over 12,000 paid internships for
students nationwide. At HACU,
we are committed to championing
Hispanic higher education
success.
