[Audio: Scott Voiceover] Hi, my name is Scott Leoncini. I’m a machining instructor here at Workshops for Warriors. I got out of the Marine Corps in 2009 after serving two tours in Iraq as a combat engineer.

My buddy told me about Workshops for Warriors and how it was giving him career skills in welding, and he talked about a machining program. I showed up and I had no idea what was in store for me. They asked me to be a teaching assistant after my first semester. And I’ve been teaching here for almost five years.

I love teaching veterans and helping them transition so they don’t have to go through the five years of, “What am I going to do with my life?” And it’s just incredible to be able to do that for these guys.

[Audio: Scott voiceover stops. Background music continues]
