Dean came to Kitsap Humane Society severely emaciated, weighing barely 30 lbs, & in need of help.
At first, Dean’s body was to weak to walk on his own.
But with proper nutrition and some assistance, Dean began to improve.
While walks were exciting for him… They were also tiring.
So we took lots of breaks to cuddle and soak up the sun.
Then, when he was ready, with a little help from his best friend, he’d head inside.
We quickly learned that despite Dean’s condition, he was full of love.
And he wouldn’t hesitate to cuddle with our staff members!
Now, nearly 18 lbs later Dean is doing all the things he loves…
Splooting in the grass, playing in the sunshine, and soaking up all the affection he can.
We are so proud of how far Dean has come
And we can’t wait to see him continue his journey with his forever family soon!
